May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. -Romans 15:13
Inviting nature inside with an interpretation of trees on a beautiful day. Whether it's the symbolism of their branches reaching to the heavens, their roots reaching into the earth providing strength, or just being around a display of nature, I've always felt a connection to trees and felt they can center energy in a positive way. This original painting represents an approach to life, an attitude that notices and values the beauty in everyday things that surround us and the everyday miracles of nature. A bold, dynamic statement piece to liven up your space with it's color and sense of hope.
Painted on cradled birchwood, sized 12" x 24" x 1.5".
Using layers upon layers of acrylic paints, pastels, charcoal, graphite and other media, rich textures and expressive surfaces are created. Through a process of building layers, mark making, erasure and rebuilding, the resulting imagery is often ambiguous, challenging the viewer to find their own meaning and interpretation of the the work.
This painting is 12" x 24" x1.5". Sides are painted in black for a finished look.
